ABOUT US:
NO LEMONS EQUINE INC. IS A 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION LOCATED IN SPENCERPORT, NY THAT PROVIDES MEASURABLE BENEFITS TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEVELOPMENTAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, VETERANS, AND AT-RISK YOUTHS. OUR ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY SERVES FOLKS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM, ADHD, CEREBRAL PALSY, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, SOCIAL ANXIETY, GENERAL ANXIETY, PTSD, DOWNS SYNDROME, AS WELL AS OTHERS, THROUGH ADAPTIVE AND THERAPETUIC HORSEBACK RIDING AND HORSEMANSHIP. OUR ORGANIZATION IS NAMED FOR A RETIRED RACEHORSE, NO LEMON, WHO BROUGHT CONFIDENCE, JOY, AND PURPOSE TO THE FOUNDER'S LIFE DURING AND AFTER HIS RACING CAREER.
OUR MISSION: NO LEMONS EQUINE INC.IS AN ADAPTIVE HORSEBACK RIDING ORGANIZATION THAT PRIMARILY USES RETIRED RACEHORSES AS EQUINE PARTNERS TO BUILD CONFIDENCE, INDEPENDENCE, GROWTH, AND OTHER BENEFITS TO OUR PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES, WHO ARE AT-RISK YOUTH, AND VETERANS.
We are dedicated to helping our community and we believe everyone can benefit from adaptive horseback riding. We believe we can make a positive mental and physical impact on riders through our horses and therapeutic and adaptive riding knowledge that builds on the natural Human-Animal bond that forms between riders and horses. We develop individual therapeutic lessons for children, young-adults, or adults based on the individual's physical, developmental, and/or emotional disabilities or adaptive horseback riding and horsemanship classes.
Over the summer of 2023, Katie became the Genesee region Special Olympics Equestrian team coach and is proud to be a part of such a large and giving community! She can’t wait until next season! Reach out with any questions!!
